Day 10 / Day 5: Lazy party

Once again I woke up to an empty house and I ended up having such a lazy day. I had intending on going on a walk that Beavis had told me about from Coogee to Bondi but that never eventuated and I ended up lazing on the couch and watching a lot of T.V. I feel a little guilty for that.
Bridget is in Sydney at the moment for an audition so when Beavis got home from work we headed into town together to meet up with her for dinner. We went to this Japanese place and it was one of the best Jap meals I’ve had. It was pricey but so worth it!

The plan was to meet up with the other girls after dinner for drinks but they’d gone off to one of their friend’s house so the three of us ended up having a few drinks together. Bridget is staying at a hostel in town and the hostel has a roof area that all the backpackers go to drink and hang out so we went up there.
It was such a typical backpacker feel with lots of international people and stuff. We met some pretty cool and funny people and ended up spending the whole night with them when our intention was to just have a couple and then head out to some bars/clubs. Samantha the English, Dorota the Polish and Fabio and Alberto the Italians.
Tonight I’m staying in a hostel on the same road as Bridget because we’ve got to get up early tomorrow to get our new rental car so it’ll be easier if we’re all together in one place. The road that our hostel is on is so dodgy – Darlinghurst Road. We picked one of the cheapest hostels. The hostel itself was alright but we found out why it was so cheap when the sun went down and the strippers came out. It was K’ Road x10. So many strip clubs, drug-fucked people and massage parlours with happy endings.

Photo bombed aaaas

Peak: Doing nothing all day
Pit: While drinking on the roof, some idiot prick sprayed the fire extinguisher everywhere and it covered everyone in white dusty stuff
