Korea

My first full day in Korea has been an eventful one. So much fun.

My main mission for the day was to find my way to my grandmas old folks home. I felt so adventurous going on my own. The subway system is so efficient. Its great. The amount of people that squish on and hussle for space during busy hours, not so great.
I decided to walk from the station to grandmas instead of bussing. The cold made me wonder if I had made the wrong decision but I ended up really enjoying the walk. I got to soak in the atmosphere. One particular smell caught my attention. It was a sort of dirty smell but one that was vwry familiar.
Seeing my gran was a neat experiemce. 90 odd years old and she's still very healthy and her mind is crystal clear. She's a very proud woman and took much pride in the fact that her grandson had come to visit.
I get to use her cellphone while I'm here. Che!

Met up with Bryan and his cousins for dinner tomight. THE FOOD. OMGZZZZZ. Nuff said. I hadn't seen Jae in about 4 years. It was a very happy reumion. There was a moment during the dinner when I felt truly happy. I'm here for only 3 weeks so I'm hoping this honeymoon period with Korea lasts until I leave. I think I might spontaneously combust with happiness if that happened.

Plans for tomorrow? More fun!
