Hongdae

Tonight we went out to this hip place where everyone our age goes to party. Sunday night and the place was still quite busy! Again, dinner was pretty special. Then we went for coffee at Charlie Brown's cafe. It was really cute with lots of Charlie Brown related decoration all over the place. Too bad I nwver read any CB in my younger years.

We went and took sticker photos in an attempt to up our Korean-ness. I was so glad it was a tame night. Thoeoughly enjoyed it.

It's funny because most of my time seems to be spent on commuting to places and I'm usually going somewhere to eat somethimg with someone. It's a viscious cycle. I travel, eat, the leave and by the time I arrive at my next destination I am humgry again! Oh well, I guess that's what living is though! I'm definitely not complaining.

Ski trip begims tomorrow!

This child was told 27 years to share food. He did good, read books, but never learned to split bread - spat back at what mum said. Never thought it was selfish 'cos, 'If I bought it and I ordered, then it should be as I wished.' Of course, there were times that I chose to be nice, remorse for the untouched vegetable sides. But inside my mind was a shallow road block. A dam full with still rules withers and rots. Distilled water needed to release the hold, in the form of cabin dwellers hosting NGOs -  made kindness mean money. Now I see my flaws. Tap water, a comb, a blunted shaver. The barber's cape - a poncho pullover. Vigilant flicks adding spritzes of flavour... only to follow with a 'see ya later...' The gap in the teeth is seen in the absurd.
